Do not purchase

Bought this three weeks ago. Started smelling a melted plastic smell. Contacted whirlpool wanting a replacement. I was told no but a repairman would look at it. Issues with the automatic defroster. It was melting. So new part ordered and I will be without a refrigerator for at least three more days. I asked the representative what I was supposed to do with my food in the meantime and was told that was my problem to deal with. When a consumer purchases a new appliance it is with the understanding that it is of quality and therefore these issues will be avoided. Not the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed with Installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best delivery charged for kit I never got. Never leveled as stated in scope of work. Door does not stay open because of tilt and door must be out of alignment since the door seal and other shelf rub. Have tried several time different way to contact no success. Put whirlpool in a bad light

The refrigerator door already broke. It was fixed promptly but now even if the door doesn't close completely, the alarm will not sound. Also, the temperature of the cold water dispenser is not very cold. However, I do like my new refrigerator.

Unhappy & totally disgusted

We bought this Refrigerator after looking at several for our kitchen. This is was one that seemed the best for our needs. We have had the Whirlpool repairman out - it will be five times now since the purchase in July of 2019. First time was for the freezer - freezing up, next time was for the refrigerator not working, next time was for the freezer drawer out of alignment and then again for the same. Again the freezer drawer is out of alignment. I have never had this problem before with any refrigerator/freezer. So unhappy.

GOOD SMALL FRIG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, after giving up my 31 year old Kenmore. It is a nice refrigerator that meets our needs. Can definitely tell the difference in the quality of plastic drawers. And it seems to have less space or maybe the storage design is less desirable. But I am old school. We love the filters and water dispenser. It is quiet and fits in our space. We definitely have to reduce number of condiments. Overall I am very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed refrigerator to fit an old space. It just fit. Not a lot of choice for older house. Crisper drawers didn’t close after a week. So crispers don’t with. Ice maker bar set low to limit Amt of ice it can make. Freezer large but will need an auxiliary freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 5 weeks ago. VERY NOISY. Has never made a full basket of ice, with little use. Walked in to find a large puddle of water in the floor. Due to the pandemic we have turned ice maker off in lieu of having someone look at it. Very disappointed in Whirlpool.this is our 2nd and last Whirlpool refrigerator.
