Will never buy Whirlpool again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge a month ago and... what a mistake!
The water would come out warm from the dispenser. We called the service. The mechanic came and stated it was a common problem and nothing could be done about it. He decreased the temperature and now the water is frozen and not coming out at all, even after increasing the temperature.
The vegetables are frozen in the vegetable compartment. As per the mechanic, “it happens “ and is not fixable.
What a waste of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not many refrigerators with an ice and water feature could fit in the cabinet space our kitchen provided, so we were very limited on choices.This fridge fit perfectly and has shelves that are easy to organize. Seems even larger than our previous fridge of the same size! Currently updating our kitchen and this is a great new addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the most convenient for accessibility. Probably on me for not testing the functions in the store. It does what it is supposed to do, but it is not so simple to navigate when you are after specifics. Also, don't plan on big jars, pitchers, etc.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this fridge. I love it and people are jealous when they come over. I love the french doors on the top and the freezer on the bottom. I am happy with the water dispenser on the door and the ice maker in the freezer as I know many people who have ice makers on the door and they don't last and are expensive to repair. I just hope that it will last a long time :)

Small storage. Thin plastic drawers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased to replace our GE Profile, based on a recommendation by a repairman. It is loud. Storage space is small. The meat drawer keeps sliding off the tracks and when we called repair they said they don’t fix it, but send another drawer. Overall, disappointed.

Don’t buy this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two weeks, everything frosted over, the water through the door stopped working, had to wait for about three weeks for technicians to come out and fix it. It’s working now for two days since the repair, but I have a feeling it will probably break again. Should’ve bought a different brand.

Great Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the summer because our old refrigerator was slowly dying. We have always wanted to switch to a bottom freezer and I love french doors- so this was a good compromise. Everything works well. I love the fast cooling feature as it has helped a lot with getting the fridge back to temperature after grocery shopping. I gave it 4 stars because there are times the door open alarm will not go off if the left door is slightly ajar.

Damper Burnt Up Within 2 Weeks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I am so unsatisfied. After two weeks of owning it I go to the fridge and open the door and am hit with a smoke that burnt my eyes. I call up Whirlpool, they do their typical read off a script, "Oh we sorry that happened." "Oh we know what an inconvenience this is and we're sorry." They drug their feet getting a repair man out. so another 2 weeks pass and the repair man finally shows up and starts to look at the fridge and determined the damper had burnt out. He said this doesn't typically happen and he thought it was due to faulty wiring. The fridge has smoke damage, has faulty wiring and Whirlpool will not replace it. "We repair, we don't replace." We'll that's fantastic. When I get that new damper in and it burns up because of faulty wiring then what am I supposed to do? I am reaching out to an attorney about the lemon law (Yes it applies to appliances to, not just cars) and seeing what we can do because this is unacceptable and Whirlpool doesn't seem to care.
