Phenomenal Range Finder!

Just received my Garmin Z80. Took some time to get the software update completed along with reaching a full charge but once I got this thing on the golf course it was amazing!! Tons of yardage info with a click of the button. Looking forward to this golf season:)

I purchased my Z80 in the fall and I'm quite happy. I have the Approach G7 and I like that unit as well for all the information it provided so when I saw that Garmin made a rangefinder with the GPS mapping system inside I knew I had to have it. I haven't been disappointed and I just updated it so hopefully it will be even more accurate.

AWESOME FEATURES

I have had it a week but I have used it 3 times already. It has helped a lot. The plays to feature seems top be accurate, It has a feature that points out the hole on blind shots, that makes you more confidant to where to hit the ball. it is great.

Z80 great device, Garmin Express a disappointment

I just bought a unit after trialling one at the pro shop. The device is a game changer. The ability to measure front and back of green is very useful.
However, the software Garmin Express which is required to update maps does not work seamlessly. I kept getting error messages on attempting to install updates.

Worth the price

Takes a little getting used to as the target circle that locks in on the flag is smaller than most range finders and requires a very steady hand. The corresponding 2D view of the hole with distances to bunkers, hazards and front back is a real differentiator. Only downside is it requires recharging after each round due to GPS tracking.

Love this range finder! Easy to use combines great features. Hole view is great to give you that overview. Like how yardages change color when you lock on the pin

I have been using the Z80 for about a year now and I am always impressed by it. It has helped me lower my scores by being more acccurate and closer to the pin. Thanks for making such a great product Garmin!!
