Red dot is too small

Disappointed with size of red dot on screen.
Very hard to get zeroed in on flag. Have been using rangefinders long time, farming needs to make red dot larger with scope lines around dot to help zero in on flag.
Also hard to get focused in viewfinder compared to all others.
All others features are fine. I will probably return and use my old one. In tournament golf I don’t have time to get use to a device. It really is difficult to get red dot on flag. Update needed.

Tremendous GPS display

I used to wear a Garmin Approach S60 watch and use a laser rangefinder, now I just use the Z80 and get two in one.

This is the slickest got/range finder out there.

This range finder is brilliant. It performs flawlessly. If it’s few short comings, it is a bit slow at locking in on the flag, however with the with the addition of the gps distances you can be assured when you have the flag located and locked it. A future enhancement might be the technical data on the greens slope and undelations

Great idea needs some upgrade

I love the idea of this range finder but it is a little quirky to use, hopefully it gets fixed with future updates.
1. the image stabilizer almost works against you and becomes harder to get a read unless you are incredibly steady on your hand.
2. When the play like distance is turned on it does not show the actual distance as well, Id prefer to see both the real distance and the play like distance like my Bushnell does.
3. I have not been able to calibrate the compass and maybe that is why the arc does mostly not show up on the green zoom in feature.
Still a great range finder and Im hoping with future updates they will fix these things.

What I never knew I needed!

I now have been able to use the Z80 on 6 rounds. I love it (as do my playing partners). Took very little time to learn. I had a great laser range finder before with slope adjustment. Adding GPS to that capability with the Z80 adds so much more helpful information. I have gotten 3 rounds out of reach charge with almost 25% battery life left. It would be easy to forget to turn the device fully of when you complete your round so I wonder if that is where others might have gotten shorter battery life. Definitely paid a premium to be an early adopter, but I do not regret my decision.

I bought this a month ago and I am very happy with Garmin products, I won multiple hunting, running,boating and auto. When it come to gps there is nothing like a Garmin

I had a game with it. A helpfull device for those who didn’t have S60. The only function more is Playlike. It is not so comfortable to use it with your glasses on! But if you don’t have any device, this one is must!
