Great features

Been wanting to upgrade my range finder for sometime. When I saw GARMIN offer a range finder with slope and course information I had to have it.
The laser is slower to lock on the target then my wife’s BUSHNELL range finder, but acceptable. Would like to see the battery last 36 holes.
I still wear my GARMAN watch to get a quick idea the range to the target as I approach my ball, so I don’t always use the course information on the range finder, but I do find it useful at times.
There’s nothing that I don’t like about the unit and would buy it again. I would recommend the unit to everyone that is willing to pay the price.

An Outstanding Rangefinder!

The Z80 Rangefinder is outstanding. Although a little pricey, it is loaded with features and 2-D viewing. It combines a GPS with a laser to give you a complete picture for your shot. It takes rangefinders to a new level.

On every shot to the green, know distances to the front, back and to the pin. In addition, how far is it over that fairway bunker? No problem. Finally, the slope distances provide exacting info—regardless or hills or lies.

I’m happy I bought the Z80. The graphics and easy of use are awesome. I did not know that I had to plug it in to charge. I assumed it had a battery. That was a disappointment.

Buy It....your golf game will get better!

Yes its a little more expensive that some of the other brands, but nothing shows you the golf course like the Z80! The courses are preloaded, the unit is easy to use and it is the most accurate range finder I've ever used. Do your game a favor....go buy a Z80 NOW!

When using the slope feature it should show both real distance and plays like distance. Most range finders magnify the view so you could see a ball on the green, this one doesn’t. Great graphics on the view of the hole layout. Very useful on blind shots.

With all the features in the Z80 you know everything about each hole. The Z80 does everything but keep score for you.

Bought this a couple of months ago, and when it works it is really good. However it regularly gets stuck in standby mode and wont wake up which is very annoying.
