This new processor is a great improvement over the previous model. Most important is that this one cleans up easily. I also love that slicing and chopping are so fast and easy with this machine. Just a word of caution - it seems these blades may be sharper than previous ones so be extra careful when washing and drying the blades.

I bought this to replace my old one that died. This has a lot more features that I will most likely ever use but time will tell. It works great for everything I have used it for.
The downside is cleaning this unit. I take it completely apart and put it in dishwasher and it takes up a good portion of the dishwasher.

So happy with my new food processor. So many features that make food prep easier. The motor is strong to handle the work volume. The suction cups on the base are a plus in keeping it stable when using. The locking storage container for attachments keeps everything organized. The dicing function gives consistency in size of food for presentation and cooking. 13 cup can handle volume and fits my prep needs. The feed tube options give you better control with vegetables. This processor is better than I expected and I highly recommend. Thank you Cuisinart!

I have owned a cuisinart food processor for over 25 years. When my original finally surrrendered I didn’t even consider a different brand. My new processor is more versatile with 2 different size work bowls and much lighter and stable base. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is due to the noise. That is the only resemblance to my previous processor, but overall I couldn’t be happier.

I was given one of the first cuisinarts as a wedding gift 40 years ago and my recent purchase was my third. The reason for the purchase is simple, I make homemade soups for family and friends as Christmas presents and the new dicing mechanism is the best feature yet. Just the other day I made veggie spaghetti sauce and the dreaded eggplant dicing took no time at all. I almost felt quilty because I was done with the veggie dicing so quickly. Of course the Cuisinart Elemental 13 makes all my old favorites too, last night we made pesto with basil fresh out of our garden and, as usual, the processor did a perfect job. This machine does everything my old one did, plus the dicing feature and the small bowl for small jobs. There has been a lot of progress in the last 40 years and Cuisinart has continued to improve and innovate their processors.

Our old Cuisinart was literally falling apart, with the safety latch broken, so we decided to not only replace an essential kitchen machine, but to upgrade it to a model with many more features and a greater cup capacity.
