I had a Cuisinart 14 Cup Food Processor for many years. I saw this 13-cup Food Processor available with a Dicer. I have used the dicer many times. It works great! As well as the regular processing abilities.

I like it but I wish the lid was easy to open n close. Also I wish the motor had more watts like the other regular processors that don't include dicing kit. Otherwise I do like the processor. So far so good. Wish u guys made it more compact for single people. My onions get chopped easily in this. No more crying. Thank u

So far, I have used the dicing kit, course shred & slicing blade, and made buttercream frosting. I love the dicing kit, EXCEPT for trying to clear the dicing mechanism! The tool include does not get all the holes and I am so afraid it will break. It is not easy! Saves a lot of time, over hand cutting everything. I hope it lasts as long as the one it replaced!

The Bad: Initial thought is that the motor on this base is about a1/4 the weight of the last model I owned and I wonder how well that will hold up in the long run. The experience with all of the attachments is overwhelming and a huge space hog. The dicing attachment only kind of works and take too much time to clean and must be cleaned in between every single veg that it process. I don't like the way that this lid is set up. The pusher do not all lock into place and fall out when turning the lid over as to not contaminate the food prep surface. Suction cups on the bottom are just ok.
The good: The blades are sharp and do a good job. I like that the base and lid are sealed to prevent leaks. It is quieter than our last model.

I have used Cuisinart for my entire life. This new food processor does not seem to be made as well as older models. The plastic seems cheap. I have already had a breakage of the plastic top and this was only after about the 6th use. I sure hope I am wrong and time will show it does hold up and hasn't gone cheap to increase or maintain profits. Their warranty department took care of me as it was still in warranty.
