I researched different food processors on the web. The Cuisinart fit my needs and more. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the dicer attachment worked especially since I wasn’t looking for a dicer. :-) It’s great for pie dough; slices or dices potatoes and onions easily. I’ve sliced and diced veggies & froze them for soup this winter. I keep a bag of frozen diced potatoes and onions for hash browns. I’m looking for ways to use this machine! This is not my first processor but it is the best processor I have ever purchased.

Got this particular model only because it had a second smaller bowl to work in. Didn't realize how many parts came along with it. Had to make extra space in the cupboard for everything. And there are a lot of nooks and crannies on the bowls and push utensils that it makes it hard to clean by hand.

This was a gift from my son and I love it! I use it once or twice a week for dicing, slicing and shredding. Just make sure the job is big enough to warrant the cleaning time.

I love my Elemental 13 Cup Food Processor with Dicing. I use it almost every day that I cook. I make everything I can from scratch. I made a pumpkin cheese cake with homemade pumpkin puree. I have used every attachment. In the small bowl I made a cheese dip and almond butter. I like the adjustments with the slicer, the grater is fun with the two different sizes. The dicer I found takes a little bit of a learning curve, make sure that what you want to dice fits snugly into the opening and keep dicing until you are finished. Use softer foods first. Don't be afraid to use some force with the pusher tool. I put the dicing grid on my cutting board to push the food through. I made pizza dough and had to hold the food processor down to stop it from shaking like an uneven loaded dyer. I like the caddy that holds the attachments although it would have been better if it also held the instruction and recipe booklet. I'm giving five stars because this machine has done everything I want with no problem. It is light weight which is good because I keep it on top of my fridge. Although it is light weight the motor is plenty powerful, no problem making my pizza dough and almond butter. I make my own soups and using the food processor not only saves time it produces consistent slices and dices making for evenly cooked foods. Cooking from scratch means you decide what goes in your food and where it comes from.

Previously owned a simple, easy to use Cuisinart 6 cup food processor that was purchased years ago plus a smaller processor so decided to go to one unit for space purposes. Purchased the 13 cup model as it offered both a large and small bowl. Find it more complicated to use and harder to clean. Do not own a dishwasher, hand wash/dry everything, so cannot thoroughly dry the enclosed tube areas on handle and cover. Do not think it chops as well as my old model.

I bought this processor, to replace my last one which was 28 years old and had been used nearly every day, the connection on the bowl broke and I couldn't find another every thing else is still fine. I was worried that I would have trouble figuring out how to use the new one, ( I am 74 and have some problems.) But its very easy and very good. Thank You for creating such a helpful appliance.
