We bought our original Cuisinart in early 1970 and it still worked well, however we only had two blade sets left and could not find replacements that were compatible with our old model, so we gave it away to a friend and bought a new Elemental 13 Cup. What a difference, in good way. Totally easy to use and clean up since it's dishwasher safe. I'm totally impressed.
