I like the machine for the most part. The lid is hard to get on and off a little until you get used to it. If it's between the dicing and the spiraling I would get the spiraling if I were you. I got the dicer and it's horrid Terrible Bad I don't know if it's the design or what but it sucks.

I have just received this and only used it a few times, but I like it and it seems to work well. The hardest part was learning how to put it together. If you don't get the small mixing bowl in just right, you cannot close/lock the processor. I would have benefited in more detailed instructions on how to assemble the different bowls, slicers & dicers. Instead, I had to get a little frustrated by trial and error. That said, I am looking forward to trying more things with my Cuisinart 13 cup food processor.

This is my first ever food processor. I am learning as I go about its capabilities. thus far, it's easy to clean (hand wash, not using dishwasher). I've used the dicing feature and have realized that it has to be cleared out as I go, but works well. Saving me time and counter space while doing food prep was the objective behind buying this particular food processor. It does those things.
