Overall a good laptop. The audio quality is very good, keyboard is nice and tactile and the hardware was good for the price. As some light criticism, I would like to mention the screen is meh, and I wish the red backlighting on the keyboard would actually stay on. But, of course, it runs games well and that's more important overall. Build quality is also really good. 8/10

I had two 5 year old laptops in use, one for astronomy and one for general use. Both needed more memory and processing power although they had 1TB hard drives. I wanted to replace these with one machine with an SSD drive for programs but couldn't find a laptop with a big enough drive. The G5 with it's 512Gb SSD plus 1TB hard drive suited my purposes, also with good graphics for photo processing, a good processor and a reasonable amount of RAM (16GB). I haven't regretted the purchase and all is working well. I had a few issues with the 4K screen and a couple of programs. Usually going into Properties, Compatibility and Change high DPI settings fixed things - except for Photoshop, for which I have to change the resolution to 1600x900!! There is an intermittent buzzing noise which seems well documented online, if this gets worse I'll need to contact support.

this laptop is a great blend of both a business and gaming it has a good color scheme the red on the black model is really subtle and gives a nice look to the device . The cooling system is very impressive thought a bit on the loud side it keeps the internals of the computer cool in most scenario's of heavy load . it has a very solid build structure with close to no flex across the entire device . overall this device is the best laptop I've had and I hope it will last me 3-5 years at least but its held up well the first few weeks

Overall the machine has been running perfectly, it wasn't until recently when I tried watching movies on it that the screen started acting up. Half the screen will turn black. Restarting the computer fixes it but leaves the same half flickering.
