Great Freezer with a ton of space

This our second Hotpoint Freezer in 20 years. The first, which is 20 years old is alive and well and was handed down to our Son. The quality looks to be equal to the legacy freezer, and the 9.4cf Is icing on the cake.

Fits very easily anywhere and provides a large amount of food storage for the foot print. Has a light on the lid, a low temp alarm light, a locking lid, and a drain plug for defrosting. Got down to temp very rapidly. So far so good

This freezer is perfect for the garage. It is larger than the 7.0 but still takes up a minimum amount of space. We do not use the included key but the interior light is a fantastic feature. When I return with groceries it is so much easier to put frozen items in without carrying everything into the house. The baskets are handy and with the light things are easy to organize.
I not only recommend. If needed I would buy again.

Perfect Chest Freezer! Highly Recommended!

Very nice freezer. The Hotpoint chest freezer meets and succeeds all of our expectations. Perfect dimension size for the indoor kitchen or garage application. Storage capacity is outstanding and can hold meat, chicken, fish, frozen desserts, ice cream, frozen vegetables, fruits for smoothies, pizza, frozen lunch/dinner entrees, and our Pembroke Corgi's pet specialty meals without any problems. The two sliding metal compartment basket trays provided are a big asset, including the built-in LED lighting inside the top chest cover. The safety Green/Red indicator light on the front panel is also a great feature to allow you to monitor the temperature of the chest freezer. Overall, we are very pleased with the Hotpoint chest freezer. Great price and big value and features. Highly recommended!

Great Product with a Great Value

I took a chance with this freezer since I was not familiar with the Hotpoint brand, but I am happy to say it was well worth it. I keep this freezer in my extremely hot garage in Florida (100F+) and it performs flawlessly. In fact, I had to lower the cooling level because my freezer was getting too cold. It is very well built, with storage racks that are really nice to keep ice cream and other quick access things.

Perfect size for us!

I bought this to replace an old upright. We decided to go smaller since kids have grown. This fit perfectly, I can reach inside fairly easy (5’2”). It keeps things nice and cold AND it has a light & lock!

Perfect size for my 2 car garage and does the job perfectly. I like that it has a very bright light when you open it up and sliding baskets to help use all the space. So quiet I cant hear it. Thanks!
