Great features

Just got this yesterday but like the extras like the interior light, 2 baskets in the top instead of 1, indicated lights showing run status at a glance, protective molding on edges of lid, curved edges of lid, locking lid!

No longer needing a very large freezer we went with this model. Perfect size: smaller, but with plenty of room. Actually more room then expected. Only time will tell about the performance.

When looking for a small freezer, I saw the Hotpoint and immediately bought it. My Mother had a Hotpoint stove when I was a child, and it was so reliable. I am 76 years old.

So far so good. It works well and the light is a great feature. It's not loud and the ability to lock it is great. So far I'm not regretting it.

Hotpoint Chest Freezer

I have had my freezer now for two months. It replaced a very old chest freezer. I really appreciate the light that was installed in my freezer. It is so nice to have it light up when I am searching at night for something. Also, the divider baskets are great. This is a very quality freezer. I am a senior and remember "Hotpoint" from when I was a little girl. That is one of the reasons I bought a Hotpoint. I know their quality.

Great Featurers and Capacity

Had a 40+ year old chest freezer full of food and decided to update for fear of the old freezer failing. We bought this chest freezer to hold the large items and an upright frost-fee freezer for the smaller, more frequently accessed items. Turned out to be a great combination. This freezer also works great to freeze the 50lb bags of bird seed we buy to kill any bugs the seed may be harboring. Haven't had it long but so far, it has worked great for our needs.

Got this a few weeks ago, and it has been great! Interior is very spacious, but the unit doesn't take up a ton of space! Plugged it in, and it was ready to go within a few hours. So far so good :)
