We are so pleased with our new Hotpoint chest freezer. It is just the right size for senior citizens that believe in keeping food to feed others

I’ve had this freezer for about a month and so far so good! I honestly have no complaints at this time - I haven’t needed to do a manual defrost as of yet, but with the easy access drain plug and provided ice scraper, I don’t see it being much of a hassle. After just about a month, there is minimal ice buildup on the walls and the insulation seems solid. The capacity is more than enough for a growing family. Between the lid being easy-lift and able to hold itself open, a nice bright interior light, the low annual electricity cost for running, and how quiet the freezer runs, I’m quite happy with this purchase.

We have owned this freezer for @one month and so far it’s been a great buy. Looks and function are exceptional with only one feature that could be improved. The lock bolt is a bit thin should be made from slightly thicker material so it’s not so easy to accidentally bend. When used, the lock/bolt holds the lid down as needed, but I’m concerned with it’s last the life of the freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just received this item a few days ago so my review is the initial thoughts. So far, the freezer came in dent free and works great. I was able to use another basket from my previous freezer and use that.
I would recommend this to a friend!
