What can I say? I installed it 30 minutes ago and it is running. I picked his product because it was the only model available in the size range I was looking for. There are few options during this global pandemic.

Perfect for Preppers

The freezer has been in operation for over a month. I have two deep freezers and cannot consider living without a deep freeze. I'm a Prepper and I've always stocked up on sale items and kept my freezers full. A friendly brunt for family jokes until now. . . .
Filled to the brim, there is little room for anything else, but what does get added freezes rock solid in short order - even at the very top!
The sliding baskets are metal and not prone to stress failures like the plastic baskets. These baskets sit recessed inside the walls of the freezer and not on top of the freezer body like my other deep freeze. Less chance of moisture entering the box causing frost at the seam requiring more frequent thawing.
I thought the interior light was overkill until now. Since the freezer is in my garage I won't do without an interior light ever again! The exterior warning light offers great piece of mind and I no longer open the freezer unnecessarily to check temperature. The keyed lock offers a degree of theft protection, but more importantly, prevents access to my grandkids poking around for popsicles!
I live in an area prone to power outages, I appreciate the low current draw of the unit (1.5a). My EU2200i generator has handled this additional freezer without a hiccup even when running a second freezer, my water pump and security lighting.
The ability to save significant dollars buying bulk sale items and freeing them for the future should have been sufficient reason for my friends and relatives to buy a deep freeze, but since the Pandemic, well, their motivation to acquire one is now compulsory. It has been my pleasure to recommend this unit to people I love.
