Small can be ok!

We wanted the std small refrigerator for our cottage to maximize kitchen space and this is just fine, except the handle placement hits your head when you bend in and the top 2 short shelves are REALLY SHORT - like barely hold butter rectangular tubs. I'd rather have one 5-6" shelf rather than two 3-4" shelves there.

Ice maker lovers

I bought this compact 18 cu with ice maker package installed on Jan 2016 and am very happy the space in both fridge and freezer. It has a bit noise once working but if you keep it level balanced the noise is ignorable. Appearance is average with silver finish.

This refrigerator/ freezer is spacious and food keep really well in it. It is a little loud when running but maybe all refrigerators/freezers are.
