Very poor design

Bought Jan 03, when my # cu ft side by side failed & both freezer & fridge sensors stopped working at 5 yrs & $ months. Far too expensive to fix. Hurried to buy fridge to save food & frozen things asap. Temperature in fridge & freezer is ok but the shelves are not convenient at all and the icemaker spills cubes all over in freezer. Very limited freezer space due to curve and door shelf. Not suitable for more than one or two people; certainly not a family who would shop once a week! I have to re-ck freezer door every time I shut it because door doesn't seal properly. It pops open ALL the time & if someone else uses it & it doesn't close, cold air escapes into the fridge section & unit runs constantly. Fridge/freezer are very loud/noisey each time it runs. Would never recommend for too little usable space, too noisy, too much $$. Wish I could get my $$ back!!

Gets the job done

I bought a GE (General Electric) 20 years ago in 1999 and it was really good and labelled where to the types of food in the fridge. I bought a new one ,the same model, 2 years ago in 2017 and it is even better. The abilities are good as well. The old fridge had the ability for us to control how cold the temperature of the fridge was, but the new one has the ability to control how cold the fridge AND the freezer is as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good looking refrigerator, but...

The refrigerator looks very nice and the fingerprint resistance is a plus. The refrigerator is nosier than our previous one. Also, the ice bucket is designed in a way that allows ice cubes to fall from the back of the bucket onto the freezer floor.

Great, secondary refrigerator!

We have been using as secondary refrigerator in our garage. One of my wife's girlfriends has had to come live with us for an extended period. It has served as a wonderful place for her to put her specific items as well as to handle some of our our overeflow food needs especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.
