This 18in dishwasher is the perfect size for our small kitchen and fits a surprisingly sizable amount of dishes.

Difficult installation. Didn't work.

This unit was purchased to replace a 18-inch model. All the connections/fittings were different than the previous appliance. Once it was installed it didn't work. After finally reaching GE, a repair person was scheduled for a couple weeks into the future. In the meantime, I was hosting a Thanksgiving feast for 27 guests. After the initial visit and parts ordering, we waited through Christmas hosting six weeks until the unit could be repaired. This is my cautionary tale.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unfortunate Manufacturing Error

Love the dishwasher, however the drainage hose took me 3 days to problem solve on how to attach it to the T-pipe. This was due to there being no rubber end to the main drainage hose. We followed the instructions perfectly when setting up the dishwasher… If it wasn’t for the trial by fire plumbing job I had to do to remedy this manufacturing error, this would have been a perfect dishwasher.
My father in-law is a seasoned contractor, who helped me set up the dishwasher, and even he was shocked that the hose came the way it did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hard to load

Very hard to load bowls. Can only fit in one day’s dishes whereas old dishwasher fit two days’ worth. Rank dripping water after cycle complete.
