Used dishwasher for one week and then it just stopped working. When it ran it did a good job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A more functional lower rack, taller silverware container, door that always closed and a shorter sanitize cycle would make this unit a winner.

For your concern with the lower rack, we do have loading tips in the manual that might help maximum its functionality; the lower rack is discussed on page 9, and the manual is available here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55124-5.pdf&_ .
As your door isn’t always closing, you may want to make sure no items are preventing it from latching properly. You may also want to check the sides and top of the door to ensure it’s not hitting the cabinets or screws under the counter. Regarding the sanitize cycle time, we can advise the cycle length can vary depending on the temperature of your inlet water; we would recommend that the water temperature be at least 120 degrees F.

Almost a 5 but needs tweeking

We love this dishwasher. It cleans extremely well, but for the price the silverware holder is falling apart only after a few months of use. The holes are also not big enough for our butter knifes. They need to have a a section with larger holes for silverware with wider handles. Otherwise I love this dishwasher. I hope they will give a replacement for the holder.

Great feature hidden controls

Good small dishwasher

Good machine, efficient, and easy to put in small space. The short program is enough for us, no need to do the 2/3h hours program. The drying is not great, maybe nonexistent, but it's easy to let the dishes dry when the program ends with the door slightly open.

Lower Rack is strange

The small size I have had before worked fine - but this new lower rack does not roll easily back, the adjustable guides are either to small or if collapsed leave plates to be hit by the spray water arm - bad design.

So quiet!

I bought this for my small kitchen to replace a 10 year old dishwasher. This one has a great modern look and is very quiet! I do wish it had a dry cycle but my old one didn’t either so it nothing I’m not used to living without.
I would recommend this to a friend!
