Quiet and Efficient

Cleans everything well; we've never had residual food or spots on dishes, containers, etc. Passive drying method is surprisingly effective--it does not have a heating element--however, it leaves dishes & silverware dry, but plasticware & containers are typically wet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it's job with a few things to note

Overall I love the dishwasher. It is small and takes a few weeks to figure out the best configuration. To get the dishes dry though you have to crack the door open after the clean cycle is complete. If you miss that window, you'll have 2 racks of wet dishes. Don't love the utensil holder, it doesn't stay in place well and the holes aren't big enough for some of my basic knives/forks. However the dryer is very quiet and the dishes are clean!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Little Dishwasher

We live in a very small condo with very few base cabinets. We wanted to add a dishwasher without compromising on space and this unit fit the bill. The unit is quiet, and does a great job cleaning, we can throw dishes in without rinsing and they come out spotless. The unit is also very sleek, I love that the handle does not extrude out from the unit. Anyone who is leaving negative reviews here either didn't install it correctly, isn't using the right dry cycle settings, or is reviewing this comparing it to the capacity of a full size dishwasher. Good but some issues

Washes well, but dries poorly, utensil basket doesn’t attach to rack and bottom rack has no stop and can roll out on to floor if not careful. If need an 18 inch dishwasher it is Ok but I would have preferred the Bosch. Primary reason I purchased it was because it was the only machine in stock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As for the dishwasher not drying, this could be due to multiple factors. First, we would recommend giving your dishwasher time to vent after the cycle ends. Also, please check that a high-quality rinse aid is being used, and that your inlet water temperature reaches at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit (this can be checked by running the faucet nearest your dishwasher on the highest setting and checking the temperature). More troubleshooting steps to try are on page 15 of the use and care manual, linked here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55124-5.pdf

Works well, but dented each time

The dishwasher itself works well. I do not like that you have to open the door right after the cycle ends in order for the dishes to dry (I usually run the dishwasher right before bed). The biggest complaint that I have is that it is easily dented. I had to send back 2 models because they were both dented during delivery. The third model I received was also dented - that dent was still on the stainless steel, but on the side so I decided to keep that one because I wasn't sure the next would be dented worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the way this dishwasher is getting everything so clean! It’s so quiet I have to stop myself to listen for it when I turn it on. How could I not go with this model? It’s new and improved from my old GE Profile, which lasted 22 years. The 18 inch size is perfect for my small kitchen and family of 2.
