I just turned 60 & have never owned a dishwasher (it was on my bucket list). Just had our kitchen remodeled & was able to incorporate an 18" dishwasher
Its small but mighty! I am very happy with its features and performance!

Nice machine ... A little odd to load

Overall, I like the machine and the cleaning cycles. It is a little weird to load as the spines that hold the plates are spaced strangely and glasses fall over. It's flexible for pots, but not great for everyday plates it seems. It's a work in progress to figure out the best configuration each time.
It's amazingly quiet. The selection of 18" washers are limited, this is a good one.
It doesn't have a heater for drying dishes, so unless you open the door at the end of the cycle they don't really dry.

The last dishwasher we had, we could hear two rooms away. This new one is so quiet, I can barely hear it when I am in the same room.

I absolutely am in love with this dishwasher. I was hesitant to write a review at first because I wanted to use it enough to form a strong opinion. I have been so happy with it, it’s the perfect size and fit for our small home and has saved me from dish pan hands.

GE has reliable products

I waited almost four months for this dishwasher due to the pandemic closing factories. It arrived today, and I know I'll love it as I had the other dishwasher (GE) for about 17 years I think. I have other GE products too such as my washer/dryer which I adore, love doing laundry in it. So the dishwasher has not been used as of yet, but it will be perfect!
