Very quiet & cleans great

Surprisingly quiet; it is difficult to tell if it is actually running --- but it is! And it cleans exceptionally well. Not sure yet if I like the loading pattern though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wont ever buy another GE product
on December 31, 2022
Posted by: Tennessee Surfer
It arrived dented but we didn’t notice in the required amount of time, so the place we purchased or the manufacturer would help. I have an $. 800 dishwasher that is brand new but dented and looks like crap.
Along with being cheaply constructed on the outside the inside is cheap.
The internal racks are flimsy, they don’t roll well, the water sprayer is very cheap plastic the door is light and cheap feeling.
The installation instructions are not easy to follow. The parts underneath also look really cheap. This was the only one that would fit in the space. I won’t ever buy a ge product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washes well, but has odd and lacking features

My landlord needed to replace our Frigidaire dishwasher after the motor died, and went with whatever the appliance guys recommended to fit in the space. Unfortunately, I've been disappointed with this replacement.
My complaints mirror the others here: - No heated dry option, your dishes come out wet; your options are a spotty air-dry or hand-dry. The "condense dry" doesn't work unless all of your dishes are porcelain. This also makes it harder to run a cycle overnight or leaving the house if you want to open the door for air drying. - The buttons on top of the machine make it impossible to know the time remaining - The inner layout is odd; I feel like it fits fewer dishes, and the utensil rack is inflexible with each small section holding just 1-3 items - The rollers on the racks do not glide easily; I'm constantly pulling out the bottom
The only good thing I have to say is that the dishes are coming out clean. I haven't yet had any problems with soap dispensing like others have mentioned; I'm simply using Cascade packs. I am using the vaguely named "boost" function for more heat in hopes it gets the dishes hotter and drier.
I would absolutely do your research to find a different product if you can. While I don't know the price paid for my unit, I'm shocked at the retail price on this site, and hope you can find a better option.

This machine is horrible.

Sanitize cycle takes 166 minutes, but no matter what I do with the type and/or level of detergent the machine does NOTHING with it. So basically any food the water doesn’t massage off without soap just gets cooked onto the dishes. Pathetic, and the machine our apartment complex just installed is BRAND NEW. Absolutely DO NOT BUY this machine. Unless you have several days and money to throw away in electric and water heating bills this is just not even worth the money you paid for it.

Hi there-
We are so sorry to hear that your dishwasher doesn't seem to be properly cleaning your dishes. We definitely understand for the inconvenience and frustration this causes, and we truly apologize.
What you are describing does not sound like normal operation, and is not the quality that we expect here at GE Appliances. With that being said, we would recommend that you schedule a service appointment with GE Appliances Factory Service Team, so that a qualified technician can come out and take a look at this for you.
You can schedule an appointment by calling the Service Department directly at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET, or by scheduling online at the following link: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We hope this is helpful! Thank you for leaving a review on our website, and for providing us with your feedback- it's very important to us.
Best regards, -Devin@GEA

Great sanitizer

It was a pain to install because of hard to reach screws and machine screws that wouldn’t line up which I replaced with self tapping screws on the maintenance front plate. You have to have a right angle driver to install. Also the additional front frame plate in the front had to be removed for installation that had wiring connected to it. Besides the installation the dishwasher works great and get very hot to sanitize.

Leaking after one year
on March 7, 2023
Posted by: Hannah789
We just used this dishwasher for one year and a little bit and then it leaked. The leaking happened at the left corner of the door. Also, the cost of the repair isn't covered as it's out of the warranty. In fact, it broke when it just passed the warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
