No drying feature!
on July 30, 2021

Should not be sold in residential settings. Creates black mold & ruins anything placed in it. Should be made very clear that this machine offers no drying function and will therefore always have to be opened at end of cycle. Worst decision we made in our new house!

Hello,
We're so sorry to hear that you do not like your dishwasher and that there is mold. We can truly understand how upsetting that is. This dishwasher uses condensate drying. Condensate Dry is an energy-efficient drying system on some dishwashers.
With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process.
If you have any questions, please let us know. We're always happy to help! Mike@GEA

Hi Olc1 - We'd like to thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience and giving us a chance to help. Here are some great tips we hope will resolve the cleaning issue: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17452
There have been changes to federal water and energy efficiency guidelines in recent years, which means dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. For additional information please visit: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18914
We'll be sure to share your comments about the racks with our dishwasher design team for review.
Thanks, again, for your feedback. We appreciate your business. Sharon@GEA

Great dishwasher!

We live in an older house (built in 1950) and the counters are lower than the modern standard (33-34") so we had to get an ADA compliant dishwasher to fit. But, in our small home and house of two-three people, it's the perfect dishwasher. It's sleek and stylish, quiet, efficient, and we only run it (with our modest amount of dishes) every other day. Our dishes come out very clean and the drying function is good (I've found so many washers leave pools of water, not this one!). Installation went without a hitch and we think we'll have this dishwasher for a long time!

Bad experience
on January 13, 2023

I have used at least 7 different dishwashers in my life so far and this is the worst one I have had. After a year and a few months, it broke down, the warranty expired, it was 1 year, the repair is more expensive than a new one. Honestly, even when it was working, that was a bad wash, and also didn't even have a program to dry the dishes. I do not recommend at all!

Hello - We appreciate you taking a moment to leave some feedback and your review.
We are really sorry to hear about the issues you have had with this dishwasher and for it having problems so soon. This is not the kind of experience we want anyone to have at all. This has definitely been a frustrating situation to deal with.
We are going to have one of our agents email you here shortly. This way we can gather some information and offer some assistance.
Stay safe. Jonathon@GEA

Not Overwhelmed on any level

I bought this sight unseen , so thats on me. It is very limited andnot at all advenced in terms of cycle options. There is no option for a silverware rack and the utensil basket is too small for most larger utensils and really nonfunctioning if you leave the slotted lids in place. But the real flaw in design is the bottom Rack. It is so poorly configured that you can barely fit dishes, utensils etc. to accomodate a dinner for 3 or4 max! the door itself is lightweight and shows every fingerprint. This was not an inexpensive purchase in fact it had to be special ordered! I am so disappointed and so not impressed with GE"s standard of quality. so dissappointed!
