If I could rate zero I would.

If I could rate zero I would. This dishwasher is hard to load, doesn't clean dish's that have been pre rinsed and it's very tiny on the inside. I have used it 3 times since it's been here and have had to manually rewash my dish's every time. Don't buy it, you won't like anything about it!

We are more than glad to assist with your dishwasher. Your comment regarding the unit's size is important to us and will be considered by our product design team for review. In the meantime, there are a few troubleshooting tips we'd like you to try that may help with the dishes getting cleaned properly.

The water should be at least 120°F (49°C) and not more than 150°F (66°C) for effective cleaning and to prevent dish damage. To check the water temperature, run hot water at your kitchen sink and measure the temperature of the running water with a cooking thermometer. Adjust the temperature of your water heater accordingly.

For best wash performance, be sure to use high quality detergents. You can see which detergents to use on page 4 of the owner's manual. Here is the link:

Horrible Dishwasher
on September 6, 2025

I received this dishwasher in my handicap apartment and it does NOT dry dishes. The inside of the door still has water standing. The instructions book says nothing about what the problem may be. Horrible piece of equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist with the drying performance you are noticing. The first thing we recommend checking, is that your inlet water temperature is reaching 120°F at minimum. This offers the best wash and dry performance, allowing the dishes to dry fastest. We also suggest using a dedicated rinse aid, it will prevent spots on glasses and promote drying by causing water to sheet off of dishware and glassware. You can view additional troubleshooting information here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451

It can be normal to notice some water near the door after a cycle, this is due to the condensation and the way the vent works. If you are noticing leaking from the door, we recommend checking this article for assistance: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18911

We'd like to help out with boosting the drying performance of your dishwasher. The first thing we recommend checking is the inlet water temperature. For the most optimal cleaning and drying performance, the temperature needs to hit 120°F minimum. We also recommend using a dedicated rinse aid. This will prevent spots on glasses and promote drying by causing water to sheet off of dishware and glassware. Very disappointed

I’m not happy with this purchase.
The dishes don’t dry well at all. It’s almost as if there is no drying cycle at all. The instructions book that it came with has no troubleshooting section. There are no lights on the front of it to indicate where it is in the cycle or if it’s running. For an ADA compliant dishwasher, this machine completely misses the mark.

We are more than glad to assist with the dry function of your dishwasher. This unit has what we call Condensate Dry. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. Using a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. Your comment regarding the lighting on the control panel is important. We will be sure to pass this along to our product design team for review.

Dishes are still not close to dry when completed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishes are not close to dry when cycle is over. I have the right water temp. I am only talking about the normal cycle, not sanitize.

We are happy to provide guidance with this dishwasher's drying. You will need to ensure that the water entering the dishwasher is between 120 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit for best wash and dry performance. Run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to purge cold water from the hot water line. We also recommend using a rinse aid to help with the drying of dishware, as rinse aids prevent spots on glasses and promote drying by causing water to sheet off of dishware and glassware. We have provided some additional troubleshooting tips for poor drying in your dishwasher here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451

If the tips provided above do not help, service is advised. You can schedule an appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
