Poor design

I’m not a fan. The spikes for the plates are too short and close together. In actuality this dishwasher holds less than any other I have owned/used, partially because it’s smaller but mostly because it was just designed badly. In a small dishwasher space counts. The bottom front left is wasted space because if you put anything there, it blocks the detergent door from opening. Also, we’re real people with real plates, bowls, cups and glasses. This dishwasher was not really designed for real people and real life.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible product

The bottom rack was poorly designed for plates and platters. But more specifically, just after 2 months of use we started encountering issues with it opening/dispensing the soap from the soap compartment. Ultimately we had to abandon the use of pods and just use liquid detergent to get it to work. We went ahead and ate the loss and bought a different dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap replacement - Read fine print

I had my dishwasher replaced. Read the fine print. Had I read the complete description of what they replaced, I would have taken the money instead of the replacement. They replaced what I had for this cheap no drying piece of crap. Who in there right mind wants a dishwasher that doesn't dry. This dishwasher is considerably smaller then what I had, even though the outer area is the same. The silverware basket doesn't even fit correctly in the tray. Probably doesn't belong with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No heat dry, not easy to operate. Small interior, racks not easily adjustable. Cost 750 dollars. For that price, it should be better. Don’t buy. My wife complains about it daily.

Hi – We are deeply sorry to hear how unhappy you are with the features and capacity of your new GE Appliances dishwasher and apologize for your inconvenience and frustration. Your dishwasher does offer our Condensate Dry feature which unlike other models is on all the time. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless-steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. Also, this model does have a heating element that is part of the wash pump assembly. It is not visible by looking inside the dishwasher. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists with the drying process. The feedback you have provided is very helpful and will be shared with our design teams. Does not dry while most of the dishwashers of this price range have a drying function. Does not work well with most dishwasher pod brands.

It gets dishes clean. It’s quiet. It is compact. Not for large families. My family of four will take two loads a day. This is a dishwasher for our small cabin.
I would recommend this to a friend!
