Very few Pros; multiple Cons

This DW was a hurried choice b/c my 1st choice was too tall due to the addition of a tile floor in my kitchen - so immediate need for 32" height. My bad - I rushed & didn't do my research...altho what bothers me may not have come up then. Comparison to an 18 yr old Frigidaire DW. Interior space not as big; top rack is not adjustable height wise, so limiting. Bottom rack variance in spoke heights VERY limiting to size of dishes, etc. that can be loaded - the same is true for the top rack - my 9 oz glassware falls over all the time & limited space for glassware below b/c of limited spoke size. No visual indicator either on the front or the top control panel when the cycle is complete. Smaller silverware caddy & the handle pulls off if the caddy load is full. Not broken; just pulls off, so not securely attached. I truly dislike the whole "condensation drying" method. I had never encountered it before now & definitely won't buy it again. More dampness & water leftover than a standard dryer method. Plus - price value not there. Was $200 more than the mid-range GE Profile 33.5" that I had selected but didn't fit. Minimal cycle options - DEFINITELY fewer than on my old model. Pros: It fit the space. Top of door controls. It is Quiet (important as my floor plan is open).
Too expensive for me to replace very soon, but I'll be saving & researching for a replacement w/in the next couple of years.

Works great, no heated drying feature though.

So far so great! I have had for 3 weeks and have used everyday. The dishes always come out sparkling clean, it does not have a drying feature, instead it has “condensate dry”. So sometimes they are still wet but I have found if you leave them in there overnight they will be dry in the morning. It is a lot quieter than the Whirpool I had from 2008. I like that it has a timer so you know when it will be done, This is a “smaller size” only by a few inches, but I am still able to get all my dishes in there like I used to with a “normal size”.

It would be more convenient for the controls to be on the front instead of on top of the machine.

Don’t like this dishwasher
on February 16, 2024

Does not dry dishes this is the 1st dish washer I had that leaves the dishes soaked and don’t dry on there own. The dishwasher stays moist inside does not dry out. I just got it maybe I need to read the instructions more because I’m not liking it so far.

Too many flaws in design
on March 1, 2024

The bottom rack on this model has no stability for the "wheels". The rack, when pulling out or pushing in is terribly lose and has to be realigned each time it is utilized. Very annoying!!!!! I work in an office setting and this model is currently in our kitchen. The compartment where you put the dishwashing powder or capsule does not stay closed at all. I will be requesting a return.

We'd like to help with your dishwasher. If the detergent cup is not closing, we recommend referring to this link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17455
The below video link describes how to adjust a lower rack in a dishwasher, so it rolls smoothly on the tub rack track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBwYl4FSl40
