Very few companies made ADA compliant dishwashers 10 years ago except GE so when our old dishwasher quit we decided to get another GE.

Cheaply Made Dishwasher

Soap tray doesn’t open half the time, dish rack always out of alignment and needs to be fixed each time, and gaskets not properly aligned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good basic dishwasher!

Good basic dishwasher. I like the stainless interior quite a bit. I would like more space for dinner plates and less for small saucers but am figuring out how to work with that. We threw away the plastic flatware separator tops immediately as they are a hassle and silverware gets clean anyway! Reviews said it is noisy but it seems similar to our previous machine and is no bother to us. The screws for the kick plate on the front couldn’t be reinstalled so my husband had to replace them with little bolts. This seems like a design flaw….. shouldn’t have used “self tapping” screws that couldn’t be reused.
