My family loves our new GE dishwasher. So easy to open, stack dishes, it's quiet also! We like the option of the light wash, especially if we are having company over soon and we need clean dishes. The stainless steel is so easy to keep clean and we like opening up from underneath. No more streaks on handle like with our old dishwasher. So glad our other dishwasher broke so we could experience our new GE!

No Dryer!!!

For the price, one would think you would at least have a dryer cycle on the dishwasher a complete oversight on me when I ordered this device. Already dislike it.

As for the dishwasher not drying, this could be due to multiple factors. First, we would recommend giving your dishwasher time to vent after the cycle ends. Also, please check that a high-quality rinse aid is being used, and that your inlet water temperature reaches at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit (this can be checked by running the faucet nearest your dishwasher on the highest setting and checking the temperature). More troubleshooting steps to try are on page 15 of the use and care manual, linked below:

Broke down after less than two years

I now have to completely replace this almost-new dishwasher. Wouldn't use the soap, no matter what kind we tried; then covered everything with grime; then after we fixed that, it stopped working completely with an 888 error. I will never, ever, ever buy a GE product again. Our 2-year-old GE stove needs repair too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Came with the house,I would’ve preferred it hadn’t

Moved into a new home, and got stuck with this year old machine. I’ve had a few dishwashers, and this is by far the worse. It doesn’t properly clean the dishes. Some areas of the dishwasher clean better results than others. I don’t get it. I have to make sure to rinse each plate perfectly or it will dirty the rest of the items. As other reviewers mentioned, it feels really cheap. I will be replacing this very very soon. I do not recommend it at all.
