GE has always been my go to and in the past they have lasted for years with regular up keep...First the machine looks great, my choices were limited due to kitchen design, only a ada model would fit. The racks are ok silverware holder is awful design if you want it to stay in place you will need to use a zip tie the topper for the silverware basket is a waste, but perhaps there are consumers who like that feature who don't want their silverware touching/nesting while they wash. The biggest design flaw and clearly GE has knowledge is this as the replacement part is never in stock!!! The lower spray arm which is a thin bonded piece of plastic splits/cracks open which allow the water to spray out the bottom of the door and flood the floor. The first failure was in the first 6 months and covered by manufacturer warranty, and we had to wait for the part to be back in stock. Now here we are 6 months later, and the spray has cracked/split again and the replacement part again is Out of Stock....GE if the problem keeps happening and you cant keep the replacement part in stock its time to re-design or change the material used to make the part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ie stainless steel...anyone who is looking to purchase the dishwasher will see its not a cheap bottom of the line unit

Washes ok. Lot of moisture inside when cycle finishes. Maybe my dinner plates are larger than normal but the instructions show 10 large plates fit 5 beside 5. Mine would bang. Too many spaces for little dishes.

Quiet and cleans well

We are pleased with the performance of this dishwasher. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is we began to see rust spots on the interior after only a few weeks of use.

Even with the shortage of parts ,the dishwasher came a few weeks late , I installed it myself ( not a mechanic by any means ) and has easy to use hidden controls. It’s also very quite
