Soap doesn’t dispense
on August 11, 2020
Posted by: Candace2020
from Houston, TX
I used the finish detergent square that came with the dishwasher and after the cycle was complete, I opened the dishwasher to see the soap still in the dispenser....with the door open. I have had to rerun the cycle every time to get the soap to be used. I switched to a gel detergent thinking that maybe that would help. Nope...the detergent is still in the dispenser after the cycle is complete....worst dishwasher I have ever had!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible dishwasher
on September 9, 2020

Not an upgraded dishwasher. Washes and sanitizes only. The door for detergent doesn’t open during cycle takes running dishwasher 2-4 times for it to work then when it does it doesn’t wash the detergent off completely leaving a gritty film on dishes. The bottom rack is horrible and doesn’t hold dishes upright. The bottom rack also doesn’t stay on track and wont slide in and out easily. The silverware bin isn’t secure and falls over easily. Very poor design!

Does a great job of getting the dishes clean.
Looks very nice in my kitchen.
I like that the soap dispenser is made for the new tablets.
The upper basket has two height adjustments, nice.
The silverware basket is great, with options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Response from geappliances.comBy Sharon@GEAGE_AppliancesDecember 3, 2020
Hello PamA - Thanks for taking time to share your feedback. We suggest you check the water temperature. Hot water is needed to dissolve and activate the detergent so that it can loosen and remove common food soils. The hot water heater should be set to deliver at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit water to the dishwasher.

To check the water temperature, run the hot water at the kitchen sink and measure the temperature of the running water with a candy or meat thermometer. Adjust the temperature of the water heater accordingly.

We hope this helps. Sharon@GEA
