Very Quiet

We had this dishwasher 3 months and what a big difference from our 17 year old dishwasher! So wonderfully quiet (I'm very sensitive to noise) and the racks inside are configured to get the maximum amount of dishes, glasses and silverware in it. I'm very pleased!!!

Not great for being placed near cabinets

It gets dishes clean -- but isn't that just par for the course?
The design is that when I close the door I can't see any readings, how much time is left -- anything -- because the face is covered-up by the countertop.

Nice Sleek Style

GE makes good products. This design is pleasant one to look at and the machine does clean your dishes well. The only thing I did not like is that you can't really tell if the machine is turned on. I put it on a 2 hour delay and the next day I opened the machine, and the dishes were not done. I had to re-read the instruction manual just to make sure it starts. It isn't a bad thing, I just wish it was a little more easily understandable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just hate the configuration of the racks.
