Very quiet. Basically only thing I like about it. The racks are user unfriendly. No drying function. If my home warranty company wasn't paying for it, I'd return it. Won't buy it again.

This unit has what we call Condensate Dry. Condensate Dry is an energy-efficient drying system. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process.
Okay - it is quiet. One plus!!! We are still waiting for the maintenance personnel to replace the sealer on the right side of the machine. The door is very light and slams without any help - UGH. It does not dry the dishes and we HATE the flimsy untensil container. Whoever designed it did not know the size of a handle on a fork/spoon or the size of a knife blade.

For best dishwashing results for your utensils, we recommend referring to page 9 of the owner's manual.
Your comments regarding the dishwasher are extremely important to us and will be considered by our product design team for review.
By far this is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. It does not actually clean dishes and it does not even have a dry cycle. I was forced to buy one of these because my kitchen counters were too small for the one I originally purchased. I should have just cut open the countertop to put in the dishwasher I wanted instead of this horrible piece of garbage. Soap residue is left on every cup, plate and silverware. The only good thing about this dishwasher is that even at 51dB, it is still more quiet than my old GE dishwasher which lasted me 30 years. Clearly something has gone wrong with GE as their newest dishwashers can't actually wash dishes. As soon as my warranty is up, I will be getting rid of this one.

We are so sorry to hear of your experience with this dishwasher so far. We would like to provide guidance with some general information for this dishwasher. For the proper drying of dishes in this appliance, the door of this dishwasher should be opened immediately. We have also provided some tips to help with removing residue on your dishware here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38935 after Clean light comes on.
for the price its cheap made, it started with leaking on the corner even after cleaning of all filters and so, then stopped draining completely. So it seems draining pump its bad so it lasted almost 4 years. for how much it will cost to repair i think i will just buy a new one, not worth paying practically the same as a new one just to repair it. I wouldn't recomend this model or brand, there were always issues with this one.

We are so sorry to hear of your experience with this dishwasher. In some cases, it can be more cost effective to replace a unit opposed to repairing it due to the age of the appliance, the vitality of the replacement parts, availability, etc.
We just purchased this ADA Dishwasher and finally have been able to replace our 25+ year old dishwasher. Due to having remodeled and installed tile flooring and countertops it made it impossible to fit a regular size dishwasher. We were recently advised that we could purchase an ADA model that could accomodate the space and couldn't be happier. We have a new dishwasher and with a brand we can trust.
average dishwahser for high price. after five years coating on rack started to rust. Front door gasket no longer available so had to replace satisfactorialy operating wahser with a new one.
