new dishwasher cleans dishes great with cascade premium and Finnish jet dry no need to rinse before placing items in dishwasher ,cycle is about 2 hours. only issue: learning how to load it correctly .
After multiple trouble shooting attempts the dishwasher has yet to run and continues to beep as soon as the washer cycle is started and door is closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there - Thanks for the review. We hate to hear of the trouble you've had with your dishwasher beeping. We can understand how frustrating this must be for you and we do apologize for your inconvenience. We recommend disconnecting power for 30 seconds to reset the internal electronics. The following link provides additional things to check: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17380
If the above doesn't resolve the issue, make use of the warranty by scheduling service. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737.
1. No heating element requires opening door to let steam out onto underside of counter...aka..ruining my counters 2. Have to open at just the right time or dishes will stay wet 3. Bottom rack does not stay open rolls right back in. 3. Racks are cheap do not glide well in and out 4. Not enough tall prongs for actual dishes.

Hello there! We appreciate your review and you choosing GE Appliances. We're sorry that this unit does not have a heating element and that you have to open up the dishwasher when the cycle is over. We're also sorry that the bottom rack rolls back in, that they do not glide well and that there's not enough tall prongs for your dishes. We see how this all can be frustrating. We have sent your feedback to our product team.
We recommend following the troubleshooting tips for your racks not gliding well online at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38988
This washer was the only one we could find to fit under a shorter counter height. would love to see it have some heated drying ability. Also found The soap dispenser is easily blocked preventing it from opening. Manufacturer Does warn about this. Stainless steel door dents easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need more taller prongs for more plates and wish the silver ware caddy was a bit larger.

Hello! We're so glad you chose to do business with us. Your feedback about taller prongs and a larger silverware basket are certainly appreciated and will be shared with our dishwasher team for future product design. Thanks for being a part of our GE Appliances family! - Sharon@GEA
I was excited to choose this model for an upgrade to my 10 year old GE dishwasher. I was particularly attracted to the stainless interior and top of door touchpad. The additional features such as food particle grinder were impressive. However, I was dismayed, and surprised quite frankly, that this "upscale" unit does not have a drying element and relies on a "Boost" water temperature option and liquid rinse to provide somewhat dry dishes. Even our 10 year old dishwasher had a heat element affording dry dishes at the end of the cycle. If this unit had better drying capabilities I would have given it 5 stars.

Hi there, we truly appreciate you being such a loyal member of the GE Appliances family and choosing this new dishwasher for your home to replace your previous model! While we are very glad that you have been impressed with the Stainless Steel interior, integrated top controls, and advanced Piranha disposer, we are sorry to hear that you have been disappointed in the drying performance and would love to offer you some guidance in this! Your dishwasher has a heating element integrated into the wash pump assembly and does not have a dedicated Dry option. Rather, it is designed with a Condensate Dry system that is always “on” and provides natural air drying by pulling condensation away from the dishes and onto the tub walls! To activate this process, the door must be opened immediately after the Clean light comes on. For maximum drying with this system, running an AutoSense or Heavy cycle, selecting the TempBoost option, and using a rinse agent will be beneficial. You can also learn more about poor dry performance within the troubleshooting guide on page 15 of your Use and Care Manual seen here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55124-5.pdf. Thank you for taking the time to share your review and helpful feedback. We sincerely hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
