Exactly What I Hoped For

AVOID BUYING

Does not dry while most of the dishwashers of this price range have a drying function. Does not work well with most dishwasher pod brands.

The dishwasher is excellent. It looks very good and it does a great job cleaning dishes. is very quiet, it does not make a lot of noise. easy to clean. I super goof buy!

Loading a nightmare!

Difficult setting it up to work. Loading dishes and bowls puzzling. Try loading small bowls and the rack doesn’t hold them up, they just flop down horizontally taking up even more space in the already small interior. Would not recommend. In fact I’m going to try and see if the dealer will swap it out for something else. Came with the new house.

SOME NOT SO GOOD FEATURES

Though it washes well, on the 48 minute cycle, we have only used the 166 minute cycle once and NEVER used the 205 minute cycle as I feel that those times are excessive!
Also, the configuration of the racks is mind boggling to us, unless GE wants us to go buy a complete setting for 8 that fits this washer. We have managed, but aside from making the plate section work, there is no real room for the bowls we have because they don't fit in the designated space as shown in the manual, so we just throw them in and hope they get clean.
Not allowing the 48 minute cycle to have the same options as the other 2, such as Sanitize, is unfathomable to me. Why not???
Finally, the silverware basket really does not have a home as it does not lock into any position so I'm sure it slides around when the washing is going.

No heat dry, not easy to operate. Small interior, racks not easily adjustable. Cost 750 dollars. For that price, it should be better. Don’t buy. My wife complains about it daily.

Hi – We are deeply sorry to hear how unhappy you are with the features and capacity of your new GE Appliances dishwasher and apologize for your inconvenience and frustration. Your dishwasher does offer our Condensate Dry feature which unlike other models is on all the time. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless-steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. Also, this model does have a heating element that is part of the wash pump assembly. It is not visible by looking inside the dishwasher. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists with the drying process. The feedback you have provided is very helpful and will be shared with our design teams. The dishwasher does a great job of cleaning dishes and is super easy to use. I needed a white dishwasher to match my other kitchen appliances and this one was available. The only drawback for me is the set-up of the racks. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks so might figure out how to better utilize them as time goes on.
