Extremely Solid Display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The M65-E0 is an extremely solid display. The value is great for the overall picture quality, features, size, and design. The number of inputs makes it great to make this the central hub of your entertainment center. The controls of not only the picture but audio too is second to none. You can fine tune just about any and all aspects you can think of which is really nice for dialing in your personal experience and needs. The addition of the Smartcast feature within the TV now is great. You can now access streaming content a lot quicker and easier now, yet you still retain access to all the abilities of Chromecast too. It is rare that companies ADD functionality after you own it. This is a nice touch that shows VIZIO cares about their customers' experience.
A few things to consider on the flip side of all the great things about this display is the depth of the unit. It is not the thinnest display on the market, but the curved back does make it look thinner than it is. Also, the stylish feet are set all the way out to the sides, so with a display this large you have to make sure you have a surface wide enough for it. This is nice however, because my 45 inch VIZIO soundbar slips very nicely under the display, between the legs and basically disappears. The one other comment I have about this display is that while 32 zones of active LEDs does provide nice deep contrast overall, if you are watching content in a very dark room and there is a bright spot on a dark image moving around slowly, you can see the LED regions switching. This doesn't happen very often, but if you are super picky about your picture quality, you may want to consider going from the M-Series up to the P-Series. In normal viewing scenarios, 99% of viewers will never notice this effect though.
All in all, this is one solid display that is an extremely good value and will keep me happy for years to come. I am very happy and willing to recommend this unit to anyone looking for a bright picture, with lots of inputs, and flexibility of being able to view content from the streaming services on-device, from your mobile device, or from traditional means like a cable box, etc. There is not much reason to look any further for a display.

Good TV overall but the dimming zones are so big, when a dark portion of the screen gets a touch out light on a corner, the whole block lights up and is very noticable. Who ever had the idea of reducing the number of zones has turned me off to these TVs. If you offer a buy back program next year, I would consider it given more dimming zones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about 2 months ago. The TV was shipped quickly, the outer box was somewhat beat up but the actual box inside was untouched. No damage at all. The setup of the TV was simple and quick. The Upscaling feature makes normal 1080p sharper and clearer. When the TV gets true 4K input the picture is amazing. For the price range this TV is in it is the top of its class. I reccommend this. I also use the TV as a monitor for my computer where it performs as the best monitor I've had.
