This monitor can not connect and cast any media. Ironically I watch content with a Fire TV and a 4 year old Chromecast connected through HDMI.
Image quality is a big letdown too. Lots of banding issues and not enough control to create a good neutral profile. Again, I'm comparing to my 5 year old Vizio that is great. I don't know what happened to Vizio, but they are not making great products anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. From there you can adjust the individual picture settings through the SmartCast Mobile App on your smart phone or tablet to fine tune to what you would like to see. You can also go into the Color Calibration option in the Picture settings and use the color tuner to adjust each colors individual hue, saturation, brightness, offset, and gain. If you need any other assistance feel free to contact our support team. We’re available Monday through Friday from 7am until 11pm (CST) by calling 877-698-4946 or through chat or email by visiting support.vizio.com.
Bought this a couple weeks ago. Picture quality is superb, HDR 10 with PS4 looks amazing. Only issue is with casting, the internet speeds are really slow at times. Also no sound from optical out when watching Netflix.

Put it on the wall and plugged it in and while I was reading how to: it started playing the built in tract. Right then and there I new I had a excellent product. Of course regular Tv is back to reality, it has brightness that far exceeds my 2015 C-65 it replaced. So far I am pleased with it's performance, I have a ways to go before I figure out how to stream on the Cromecast thingamgig, and hooking up to my dumb phone, ESCUSE ME!, the phone is smart and I'm old! Still looking what an ap is??
Bought this on line and first one was damaged in shipping. Contacted vizio support and they got me taken care of with a new one, and pick up of the old one. About the TV. Pictures great and it's got a pretty slim profile, and plenty of HDMI ports. Haven't used the casting yet but I think I will in the future. All in all a great tv for me

Absolutely love this product, I got the 55" version and it's spectacular! With a little calibration from RTINGS.com and the tv is set and the color is superb! HDR along with the "active LED zones" makes this hard to pass up as an OLED tv. The only downside is HDR only works on hdmi port 1, and the upscaling could use some work. However, watching Logan in UHD HDR is amazing and the chrome cast works well. If you have low internet speed, the 'Cast' option could have several connection failures.
