Love our new Vizio! Smartcast is a great feature The picture is terrific. The only downside is that the sound quality is thin. But that's an easy fix with a sound bar. This is a great value!
Not really liking the SMALL REMOTE It took THREE HOURS to do the wizard set up BUT I am POSITIVE that is a COMCAST 'thing'

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this M65 television to replace the television in my office. I am really impressed with the picture and build quality of this television. I have a P75 as my home theater display and M65 competes quite well, for being a more midrange product. The 1080p upscaling is good, I don't notice any real softness or blurriness in the picture. 4k content is super sharp with no obvious motion artifacts. The black levels and contrast are pretty good, however it could benefit from a higher number of local dimming zones. Overall I'm really impressed with this television, it's a great value.

Great Picture and Amazing Value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for an incredible picture that won’t break the bank, Vizio’s upper-mid range M-Series display is an amazing value that just can’t be beat. This is a full-featured display that is very capable of displaying HDR in its full glory. I would have no hesitation in using the 2017 M65 as my primary home display.
Design: The 2017 M65 is a very nice looking television and in my opinion is a compliment to any room that it will reasonably fit. It has mostly plastic construction with some nice metal edging. Stylish, sturdy metal stands improve the look of the TV further. It definitely has a very modern look to it, which I appreciate.
Picture: The M65 features 32 zones of full-array local dimming and has a really nice picture. It has an excellent contrast ratio with very deep blacks, making it great for HDR content. I watched the UHD version of Mad Max on the M65, and it was an awesome experience to say the least. Dolby Vision HDR content on the M65 will blow you away. As with any display, the better the signal, the better the picture. The M65 is no different. 4k HDR content looks the best followed by 4k SDR, but 1080 and 720 content also look great. There are some nice filters for lower grade signals that can improve the experience further, making things look cleaner. Motion control is also very good on the M65 when using the “clear action” feature, although I preferred the look of leaving clear action off. This display is great for a dark room because of the deep blacks, but it can also get bright enough to compensate for a room with a good amount of ambient light. I watched content in both light and dark settings, and I’m very happy with the performance of the M65.
Sound: I would say that the M65 has a better than average factory speaker system. Factory sound is good, but I always recommend using an external sound system with any display. Sound was much improved using a 5.1 Vizio soundbar system, which really provides an awesome experience in sound quality for movies, shows, gaming, and music.
Gaming: I’m a hardcore gamer and playing on the PS4 Pro was awesome on the M65. Input lag is good with the “game low latency” feature turned on. The display can handle a 4k HDR signal @60hz at 4:4:4 chroma on HDMI port 1 which features full HDMI 2.0a bandwidth. Games look great on the M, and the clear action feature keeps motion crystal clear. No complaints from this gamer.
User Interface: With the recent firmware update, the user interface is really nice. Changing picture, sound and system settings is easy. The new firmware also adds onboard apps to the display. Now, you can choose to cast from a device, or use the apps on the TV.
Summary: The M65 is really a great display. It has excellent HDR features and looks great with movies, TV shows, sports, and video games. The new interface and onboard apps with the most recent firmware make it even better. All in all it’s a great setup and an incredible value. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the money, you will be hard pressed to find a better value than the M Series. The refresh rate is great for movies and sports. The new TVs can now pick up the 5Ghz band on my router giving me the fastest wireless speeds available which makes streaming seamless. I do recommend a sound bar as the sound can get muffled when mounted on the wall. Find yourself some good 4K content and be prepared for some mind blowing colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think the M65's picture quality would come close to my P65 - but I was quickly proven wrong. The local dimming isn't quite as good as my P-series, but it's close enough to make this a great value. The included streaming apps work well and have plenty of 4K HDR shows and movies, most of which look amazing on this display. The included remote works well, although I do wish it included shortcut buttons to the onboard streaming apps. It's a minor quibble, but the display's value and picture quality more than make up for it.
