The picture is so good my dogs react to what is on the screen. The picture is a noticeable improvement over our previous TV. We were surprised at the ease of setup.
I did a lot of research and decided this was the TV for me. It has been nothing but a problem. The "SmartCast" is a joke. The remote is not intuitive. Connection via HDMI is difficult. DO not buy this TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this 55" 4K a few months ago, for less than my old 50" 1080. the picture is pretty amazing, especially when you get good HRHD content. I actually really like Chromecast app. It works seamlessly with pics and video.
This TV is amazing! The M series of Visio TVs outperforms all others by far, and for much less! the picture looks incredible, everything is super sharp, crisp and just outright beautiful. This is a must buy if you are looking for outright value for your dollar.
So far (3 weeks) all is great. The only thing I complained about is the lack of an power indicator light. The user manual shows it but it does not exist on this set. However, I got past that minor issue and have no further complaints.
