We’ve had this TV over a year now and at first I loved it. It was my first smart tv and I was excited! Love that I can cast things from phone, control the tv with my phone. The picture is good but the sound is lacking. The part that frustrates me the most is the remote! It is a very awkward feeling remote. It slips out of your hand, the back is annoying to take off/on and the lagging is the biggest downside!! Now I don’t know if this is due to my internet but I have charter WiFi. My equipment is not old, everything is up to date, I’ve tried a few different things that were suggested for the remote lag and nothing has helped. Now, today, as I type-I tried changing the channel, the remote was unresponsive. Took batteries out did a power recycle, the tv comes on then off - it won’t stay on, not even when I turn it on using the power button on the tv. We opted for the middle of the road version of TVs, not cheap, not expensive and just disappointed it seems that it needs replaced just after 15 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this tv a few years ago and have loved it since. Picture and sound quality are bright and loud. Highly recommend this tv to any and have 4 Vizios in house, great brand to buy.

This is my second Vizio tv and I'm very happy with the 4K HDR picture and overall function. Occasionally, the connection to streaming apps like YouTube, etc crash or don't connect properly, but typically a quick reboot fixes the issue. My only major knock is the remote, way too small and cumbersome for large hands. Otherwise a great tv for the price.
