Great TV

I waited years to by a quality TV and finally broke down and purchased this 55". The color is excellent and the set up is super simple. The TV basically asks you all the questions needed for the set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice set but some technical issues

I've had this set for about a year and had no issues until recently. Sometimes on start up the audio is gone but there's a picture, other times the video is gone but there's audio. Most of the time it's fine. Vizio helped troubleshoot my problem with a downloaded update, which has worked for a month. Their support is excellent. Today the same issue began again. I've had my cable company here to check it out and they said only Vizio could resolve this. All in all it has a beautiful picture and the audio is great, but this ongoing intermittent issue is a real bother.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

my tv of 12 years finally died, so I bought this tv. my old tv was pretty good at 1080p, but had no smart features. this tv has a ton of features, I dont think ive even scratched the surface of content available, much of it free. first night I got this tv, I wanted to see some 4k content so I started watching nature videos. I was blown away, you can see every little blade of grass, even flies buzzing around the animals from pretty far away. absolutely stunning picture. im sure it just gets better from here, but my old eyes couldnt tell the difference anyway.

This is a SMART TV

I bought this TV, used, two weeks ago. It replaces a 55" Vizio TV and is amazing. The Smart Cast features and Google Home integration make this set a pleasure to use. Setup after a factory reset was simple. The TV was connected to my network The online user manual is a another great feature. I took one star off for issues with the auto audio off speaker when connected to a soundbar and for CEC issues with a connected Roku Ultra device. The picture is stunning and the automatic up-scaling undetectable.
