I got this one based on C Net's reviews of the 2016 M line as best bang for the buck. Only drawback is the limited on-board choice of channels and not being able to add one without using a smart phone or tablet mechanism.

Very good 50 inch smart tv set for the price. I've had this model for about 3 weeks. Excellent picture quality. Figuring out how to use the smart tv features has taken some effort, but I'm getting the hang of it now. I am enjoying this set.

Excellent picture quality, sharp and good color and contrast. I do notice that the image is washed out a bit when viewed from a 45 degree angle or greater, but I think this is true of this type of TV. Overall, I am very pleased.

My Aunt always won the blue ribbon for her pie. Vizio is the best at making incredible televisions, with all the features you want, at a price you can afford. The M50-E1 has a beautiful picture, 4k, HDR, multiple LED zones, and the Smartcast convenience. It was a wonderful Christmas present to myself.
