Great Interpretation of Saturn V Rocket

This was the third large scale Lego set that I have completed and it was fun. Even though there are several areas where things get repetitive during the build I enjoyed putting this together. The scale of the completed build is just right. I might make a display and add this along with my childhood pictures from when I got to meet one of the astronauts from Apollo 15. This is great Lego set for a parent to build with their kids.

Incredible build

Was just glancing over some reviews people made that complained about this set. I built mine over a year ago, and was really pleased with the build. I had no trouble assembling it , and every thing was very stable . It is a very solid build, even had it standing on its own. Anyone wanting this set don’t worry you won’t be disappointed

Different than any other Lego I have built in that it looks more like a scale model when done than a Lego set - lots of interesting and new building concepts - such as how the sides are attached using hinge pieces etc. - I do not believe the play value would be very good as it would be difficult for a child under 10-11 to line up and disassemble and reassemble - also the nose cone command module is a bit fragile - but an excellent display piece and a focal point of your collection - I mean it has presence and tour eyes go right to it upon entering the room where other Lego sets are displayed!

Another engineering marvel

This was a set I had to track down years after it was released, but was worth the price. The height makes it an impressive and polished model appreciated by any age. The replicated detail and scale size is well done, and the build is fun. The way the cylindrical shape comes together, especially since the set uses all LEGO pieces and not a Technics frame, is fascinating. The icing on the cake is the graphic pieces are all printed, not stickers! Printed pieces definitely makes this set look more expensive than it is. The 1969 pieces is a nice nod to history.

I really enjoyed building this set. The pictures shown of it on the buy page do it NO justice for just how large this rocket it. It’s not as heavy as you would think either.

This set is amazing especially if you have any interest in NASA and space. This set is also an impressive perfect size. The best part of this set is the incredible value. This was by far my most satisfactory purchase where I actually felt like I was getting a good deal for what I got. I highly recommend this set for all ages.

This may be the best set Lego has ever produced. The build is intricate and rewarding. The finished rocket is huge and gorgeous. And Lego is charging half of what it's worth. There is no reason not to get this one. Immediately.
