The Saturn V is one of the best values you can get and one of the best sets LEGO has ever made. It's fun, technical build that you really makes you pay attention, and a great display piece and can fit pretty much anywhere even for being 1 meter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This set was tons of fun to build and I had a great time building it! the amount of detail put into this set is absolutely insane! The instruction were very very clear and I had no problems building it. Thank you for yet another great set Lego.

This Set is Out of This World!

My family picked this set up for me on our Spring Break getaway to MOA and I was excited to get it home and get building. I grew up watching the Apollo missions, so this was a pretty awesome set. I spent about 9 hours over 3 nights building away and the end result was as amazing as I'd hoped. It's a masterpiece! I couldn't be happier with this set. Before I built, I read the one-star reviews on this page which gave me a little insight to problems others had experienced. You definitely have to vigilant with this one. Early on, I had one misstep which thankfully I discovered within a step or two and backtracked to correct. Beyond that it was a flawless build. As to the naysayers who say it's flimsy and falls apart easily, "You're doing it wrong!". I stood mine up on its own several times and it did not waver. Now I have kids and dogs running around, so I wouldn't leave it standing up like that without securing it, but it certainly didn't topple over as some of the reviews indicated. Also the staging connections are very snug and secure. I was able to hold mine with one hand and carry it around with no issues. I highly recommend this set and encourage builders to be diligent in the build and sensible when it comes to playing or displaying. This ain't rocket science! (or is it??) Enjoy! Oh yeah, I thought it was pretty clever that the piece count was 1969. Well played Lego designers!

The set that got me back into Lego

As a child, I always had bins full of LEGO spread across the floor. As I grew it became less of a priority. My nephew recently got way into them which reignited my love for them.
Also being a HUGE fan of the space race, especially the Apollo missions, this kit held a special place in my heart. I finally pulled the trigger and have been hooked since.

This fully detailed LEGO model is truly a masterpiece that deserves to be in every household, classroom, or office where young minds aspire. Perhaps the most economical investment in learning.

Great build!

This is the most challenging Lego project I've done. It requires a lot of attention to detail and patience, and the size and length of time it took makes this one very special to me.
I don't have room to display the rocket on its side on the stands, so I have it standing on its engine nozzles. It gets a lot of comments from guests.
I think this is a project where one misplaced or loose brick early on in the process will have significant negative impact on the later stages. I haven't noticed any of the problems mentioned in the 1- and 2-star reviews, so I suspect this might be the cause of those.
