This is one of the coolest lego sets I own. It's amazing. I love the detail and size! It would be fun piece to play with but this baby will be on display in my office soon!
Great set!

I find this set ticks every box for any lego enthusiast. The value for money is great, it has some challenging steps along the build and it looks great. It’s a very enjoyable educational set and I would definitely recommend it. Cheers!

Excellent

This is just a great build. Its challenging with little pieces intricately arranged (a fare bit are internal so are not actually seen in the final piece) but the pay-off is well worth it. A model I still look at with pride. I also got this for my Dad, who had great praise for it too. Definitely worth the purchase.

Fun build!

I really enjoyed building this set. It was great to see it come together and I think it would make a great family project since different people could build different sections. The end result is spectacular and majestic. Now I just have to find a place to put it.
Beware, there are several items in the build that require the same thing to be built x 4. Prepare for some repetition.

Not the finest Lego engineering

I am fine with complicated builds, I loved the modular buildings before they took away all the interior detail. But this was the biggest pain in the neck ever. Not because the build was overly complicated but because it was not structurally sound while trying to snap things together. All of those red pieces at the corners that the outside pieces were supposed to snap onto wobble back and forth and are balanced precariously on a single peg. Even fully assembled if I pick it up panels can shift malforming the outside of the rocket. It was beyond fiddly and no where near fun. It looks impressive though, so long as you never intend on touching it again like luggage in an overhead bin, shifting may occur.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm so sorry to hear you've experienced some trouble with your build — that's no fun! We put our toys through multiple tests again and again to make sure they hold up to both play and display. Should you ever find pieces shifting or a little off from where they should be, rechecking your build and instructions is the best bet! Sometimes a piece might need to be pressed together more firmly or realigned to improve the stability of the build.

If you need a helping hand troubleshooting your build, we're here to help. Get in touch with our friendly customer service team at LEGO.com/Service to get started.

Best set in years
on June 6, 2019

I have put a lot of sets together over the years but this one tops them all. Lego is the reason I am pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. This set combines two of my favorite things Lego and space flight. I know that the set wasn't originally designed by the Lego team which is astonishing. I would love to see similar sets in the future.
