Amazing

Big, heavy, and accurate, just as it should be. Excellent level of detail and accuracy to the real rocket. Love the fact that it has 1969 pieces, just like the year where it landed on the moon. Also love thet everything, inclusing micro figures, are in correct scale.
Worth every cent, must have if you love space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Apollo awesome

My love for Lego is legendary and my love for rockets is just as big, to put the two together is brilliant.
I loved building this set due to its brilliant bag system and easyness to read the instructions, I can only build it in timed bursts because of commitments. Prolonged building and enjoyment (since last xmas) I loved more.
There’s not much playing with this one but it’s brilliant to look at as a model, you could probably do this in about 5 hours in one sitting.
(Just a thought) the new hms Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier would be an awesome addition to my collection.

Worth Every Penny

The Saturn V rocket is good for display. - It's beautiful on our mantlepiece. I like the new color (silvery-grey) of the tubs at the bottom of the F-1 engines. It's also very sturdy, yet comes apart easily. - The stages separate. The section with 16 sides (the vented part) is my favorite. It was rather easy for my 10-year-old to build. In fact, this was the review he wrote. We liked the learning about the Apollo 11 mission that went along with the building.

I first saw this set in an online add for upcoming sets and new that I had to have it! After waiting months, I bought the set but wasn't able to put it together until just recently. I have to say, it is without a doubt one of my new favorite sets.
The build rate, level of detail, and overall scale is just impressive! It is now sat prominently in my front living area for all to see, amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This set is awesome! First of all, I was very happy when this set came in the post but it took a few days to get here. The box is highly detailed and has a lot of nice facts on it. I like how there were twelve packets of building. The model is rather cool. I like the way the stages separate and the detail put into it is astonishing! I like the command module and the way it connects to the lunar module. The cm has detail, and the microfigures fit in great. The LM looks good on the moon-like tile and figures look very good! Overall, detailed model, great play features, and a great value for money.

An epic build

We built this slowly over the course of two weeks, almost a bag a day. It's truly an epic build, the attention to detail internally and for each stage - such as the grills and F1 rocket engines is truly astounding, and adds that extra level of authenticity. We had a great time building this model.
Highly recommended.
