Great Set And A Lot Of Heritage Into It

The fact that this set has 1969 pieces alone would secure a purchase. It means a lot to fans of space exploration.
The excellence of the set itself aside, the play experience is actually on the simpler side: The rocket is only separatable into stages, which is cool, but all of the inner structures are hidden away after it is built. I sort of wished it was a quick-disengage mechanism that holds the shell of the rochet onto its fuel tanks.
The building experience was a bit boring towards the end, with 2x or 4x of the same sub-structure over and over again. But I guess it is the nature of a cylindrical thing.

I'll be honest I love lego from afar. I don't usually have the time or space for the sets but I brought this one as I love things space.
This was simply amazing.
It's so well constructed and thought through that it sincerely blew my mind.
It was straight forward enough to build even for a novice, the instructions were first rate and quality is top notch.
It's a display thing for me but I'd imagine you could have hours drifting through space playing with it.
Come on now Lego let's get ISS going, curiosity rover and the hubble

A truly unique set

This is a must for all space fans out there, but also for unique lego fans. the build of this set had more unique and ingenious techniques than any other set i have ever built.

When I completed the first part of this set, I was already amazed by how big this rocket would be. And part was just nothing compared with the whole set! It is so detailed and so precise! I just could believe it is this big! Everytime I see it, I stand still and stare at it for like 10 minutes and everytime think how big the rocket really is... Really nice set and big compliments to the creaters of it!!!

This set is fantastic. Best value of any Lego set for sure. It was super fun to build and very fun to admire on my mantle afterwards. It is solidly constructed and beautifully designed.
