"Houston...We Have a Masterpiece"

Oh man, where do I start with this set? Perhaps it is the sheer size of this beautiful, elegant ship that captures everyone's attention instantly. Or maybe it is the unique paneling style that makes it look as authentic as could be? Better yet, it could be the complete lack of stickers and the printed tiles that decorate the sides of the beautiful rocket? Either way, this set is absolutely gorgeous. It was so much fun to build, even though I had to build it next to my bed, because it wouldn't fit in the normal building spot in our dining room. It is impressive from every angle; I could spend hours just staring at it. The sleek design makes it a show-stopping aspect of this set. I have never seen anything like this set before.
I really can't find anything wrong with this set; everything is perfectly constructed to be as subtle, and form-fitting as possible. By far my favorite set of 2017!

One of the best Christmas gifts for space fans

I really enjoyed building this beauty. I started at 11 pm and finished at 5 pm the next day (with some sleep in between). It was fun to put together and looks very much like the Saturn V. One thing I find comical and interesting is that there are 1969 pieces, which is the same year Apollo 11 launched. I truly hope that LEGO makes this "idea" a regular product so that others may enjoy the greatness of this product. Thanks to the people who suggested and designed it.

The 'play feature' for this set is the absolute best I've seen for a large Lego sculpture. It looks awesome just sitting on the shelf, sure. But to be able to take it down, and walk someone through all the stages from launch to splashdown, is just a joy. One of the best sets of all time.
Oh, and by the way, the internal structure of this thing is SO bizarre. It was a continual mystery while we were building it, which was a really great experience. Fantastic set.

Fantastic price, and even better build quality. No fooling around with crooked decals- the necessary pieces come printed, and the strength of the build is amazing. over 3 feet long with 3 separate sections, and yet you don't think twice about handling it. The internals are even better, they just seemed to be showing off sometimes (and it's great).

I love this set! I also appreciate the building process. The booklet takes you from bag-to-bag. The build was basically painless and I loved every minute of it. A nice bit of history on display. Thanks LEGO!
