A beautiful masterpiece

This is my first Lego build in years. Seeing that this set was going to be released, I couldn’t resist and had to buy it. The set is just amazing. It is almost a pity that you cannot see the level of detail that is put inside the rocket, shielded by the outer shell. Highly recommended!

Great set. I bought this because i am a big fan of everything that has to do with space. Randomly sumbled upon this set after not touching LEGO for 15 years.
This set has reignited my love for LEGO. The inside structure is so interesting and well built. It's a lot of fun building this thing even though its just a big tube because of how the rocket is built inside.
It looks great, it is very sturdy and stable. The LEM is a very nice little sidebuild.
And the best part, NOT A SINGLE STICKER, every detail is printed wich is very nice.
If you like space travel or your kid likes it, get this set!

the best lego set i have ever built so far! very pleased with the attention to detail! the lander its self is amazing with the tiny new lego figures, flag and printed on parts are a very nice addition.

Fairly simple instructions, incredible detail.
I like that you can display it standing up (it's pretty stable), or on the provided lego stands. Make sure you have space if you are doing the stands, it's over 3.5 feet long!
If you stand it up, don't put it anywhere it could be knocked over or a wobbly table. Mine fell over. Well... I guess it was a minor rebuild so put it anywhere you want haha.

this was a great set but one of the bags that we ordered from lego .com were wide open but thankfully it had all the peices in the box. besides that it was alot of fun building

My son (26 yrs old) & husband took turns building this amazing set. The way Lego has these big sets organized is awesome. Back in the day you didn't have the different bags labeled & coordinated them with the instructions. They do now. Be sure to have room for this cool rocket. It will be best to display it on its' side. This set would be perfect for the avid builder, the space lovers, or just for those that love Legos and the amazing sets. We may take this finished product to my classroom. Students will be in awe over the size!

The end result looks great, especially in this photograph (NB, real moon in the shot). Hopefully the Lego team will give us a big lander, maybe a Soyuz, and a proper version of the shuttle in launch configuration. The Saturn isn't too tricky to build, it's just big.
