The detail and scale of this scale model is both interesting and realistic. As a display piece it is a standout piece in my NASA collection. The options to display as complete launch ready rocket to sectional museum display is unique.

A great way to celebrate the Moon landing

I'm not going to write and endless wall of text simply because I don't think that it's needed.
Its size is BIG, it's both sturdy and easy-to-separate at the same time, and the small details are amazing.
Whether on display as whole or separated does not matter - it looks amazing.
My favourite is probably the lander with the microfigs - having so many details with so few parts on such a small build is really great.

The price-to-piece ratio is excellent, especially considering how the details are printed and not stickers.
I'd recommend this to anyone who likes LEGO and has the space to house this beauty. I'd even recommend it to someone who's not into LEGO but loves space exploration.
I rated play experience a bit lower simply because I think the set is too big for the average children who play with sets. But I don't think that demography is the main target of the set.

Being someone who has always been fascinated with the Saturn V, I was eager to pick this up. I was not disappointed at ALL. There are so many elements to this build that I will not talk about to ruin the experience, but am thrilled with the different methods used to create this masterpiece. Honestly, if you are having a hard time deciding if you want this, just do it... It's totally worth it.

Fantastic and Realistic Set!

Overall this set went above and beyond my expectations. I have always loved the Saturn V rocket, and I view it as one of the greatest achievements of man, if not the greatest achievement man has done. This build not only looks fantastic, but it is fantastically constructed. The fans who originally designed this set, and the builders at Lego who constructed it certainly showed love for the rocket when designing this set. I love the fact that its stages are accurately depicted, and despite the fact that its stages separate, it still hold together firmly enough that it can be held sideways and not fall apart. This set was immense fun to build, and I highly recommend this set to anyone who has an interest in the history of space travel, as it not only makes for a beautiful set, but it also can be used to show recreations of the missions. This is my favorite Lego set to day, and I am so glad I purchased it!

This is easily the best LEGO set I have ever purchased. It is an incredibly challenging build, but well worth it. The designers accomplished some amazing angles. In addition to this being such a well designed and fun set, the price point is very fair.
This should be a must buy for all LEGO fans. Even if it didn't represent such an iconic piece of American history, the set is worth the money as a parts pack alone.

Best LEGO Set Ever!

This thing is awesome! I don't need to repeat what everyone else here has already said, but I think this is my favorite set, and I have quite a few. It's absolutely huge, and feels very solid. I hope LEGO makes more sets like this!

Can't Praise it Enough

This build was the most fun I ever had building Lego. The intricate detail and complicated interior made it challenging but so much fun. Standing at a whopping 1 meter high, it's true beauty shines while either standing or laying down. I honestly can't praise this thing enough. This is a must have for all Lego enthusiasts.

Absolutely Amazing

I don't "gush" about things. I'm a crusty "old" man. I don't get all sentimental, foam at the mouth about things, and get all hyper...
But this Lego set? Makes me want to pull out a set of pom-poms and start prancing around the room going "Sis Boom Bah".
I've been putting Lego together for over forty years. And in that time? I can't think of a set that has been more entertaining the build, and then more entertaining to show off. And then? On top of that? Even more entertaining to run through a "simulated" Apollo 11 mission. Absolutely insane.
Wife thought I was insane for staying up as late as I did to order it when it released...but even she admits now? Great purchase. Worth ever penny and then some.
