Wonderful experience!

As an avid space-fan, this set really did it for me! The fact it has 1969 parts, honoring the year the first humans set foot on the moon, was a great touch.
The build was maybe little bit repetitive, but as the model came together, this was quickly forgotten. I love how it comes apart, so that it can be displayed with each individual rocket stage, but as a whole model, it's even more awe inspiring! It feels and is very sturdy, so if you want to play around and simulate a launch, you don't have to worry about it breaking.
Thank you Lego for making this a reality!!!

Amazing recreation of iconic space vehicle

I've only finished the first stage and its very firmly my favourite Lego model of all time. Early childhood memory of watching a splashdown from moon mission on black and white tv in 1970's has led to lifelong interest in space program so this was a must have from when it was announced. It has however exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Its a delight to build as the details unfold, very strong and stable and a thing of beauty. I now need more space models and a gantry to display it one. Highly recommended to all space buffs.

This set is AWESOME!!! I bought this epic set luckily before it was sold out. I got it about 5 days later. The box was dented in the middle but who cares. I built it in about 5 hours. If you don't like repeating steps '4X' then i would reconsider buying this set, but anyway i would recomend to anyone who like big Lego sets, space, american history, and is you have lots of display room

Still in process of building, however this is great, what else can be said about this set. Have to wait for my grandson to come home to finish. I am on bag nine. Stage 1 of the rocket is great. Only problem now is where to put it, but really not a problem.

This set is huge! By huge, I mean a meter tall or 39 inches. It is great because it doesn’t look like a lego, so it looks like a round rocket. Also it comes with a lander and escape module so you can recreate stages and landing. Overall get it it’s awesome!

Wonderful set. It took me 8 hours over 2 days. Great model, every once in it is fun to reenact the moon missions, but not super function play toy. Would definitely recommend, totally worth it.

What a fun experience...

This was really a fun model to build, granted I haven't built a Lego model for quite awhile.
Several times I had to disassemble the part I was working on, reassemble because I missed a notch or two... still once I got through that step it was quite satisfying. I love this rocket and Lego did a wonderful job designing it with the level detail I never expected in a Lego model. Now if Lego would produce the launch tower that would be wonderful...:)

Totally Awesome

First let me say that I am a total space nut, so when I saw this set it was a must have. After building it, I think this has to be one of the nicest sets I own. I currently have it displayed on its side, on a bookcase and everyone that visits makes a comment about it. When I tell them it is a LEGO set they all say "no way." This set truly does not have the Lego look to it. Its lines and details are a plus, the instruction manual rocks, love that its all to scale. Even my kids enjoy playing with it, when I let them. I REALLY WANT LEGO TO MAKE THE CRAWLER AND THE LUT TO GO ALONG WITH THIS SET!!!!!! To sum up this set, its one of Lego's finest, and as the movie says, it's totally awesome!!!!
